Funny or Die

In this book, Felton mines the darker, stranger corners of his day job, the Multnomah County Library, to create subversive comedy in the form of digital collages. Using imagery and text from fine art, pop culture, literature, and journalism, Felton's juxtapositions explore the mechanisms of jokes while revealing the common threads that connect cultural highs and lows.

Alex Felton lives and works in Portland, Oregon. He has shown at numerous galleries including Small A Projects, Fourteen30 Contemporary, and Stand Up Comedy. He co-curates the group zine Nudity in Groups, published by Fast Weapons.
