Sand Shifts

by Letha Wilson

Sand Shifts was created in conjunction with Letha's solo exhibition Shadows and Sunlight at the Center for Contemporary Art & Culture at the Pacific Northwest College of Art.

The book consists of photos taken by the artist during a residency at The Sou'wester Lodge on the Pacific Northwest coast. The pages were printed digitally in 3 colors, and then altered with various cuts, tears, and folds. Final, the remaining color was printed on an offset press on top of these alterations. The resulting images are collaged and fractured across multiple pages
